Insurance and Billing
Endoscopy Center of Marin accepts most major insurances. We will bill your insurance carrier for you; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage is between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles.

I had to get a screening colonoscopy and moved from SF to Marin recently and ended up here because it was close and convenient. I’ve read some somewhat so so reviews online so wasn’t sure what to expect and I had a super pleasant experience. Dr. Sharma was great, the CRNA was great, and the whole thing was fast and painless. I was super anxious and they quelled all my fears and made me as comfortable as possible. Scheduling and the whole prep process was easy as well. Not sure what the deal is with any of the negative reviews, but I wanted to come on here and write this one since I feel like people often only write these kinds reviews when they have something negative to say.

Very pleasant experience. Dr Hogan was so sweet and professional. My nurse was kind and personable. The anesthesiologist was friendly and funny. They had a lot of patients in at the same time but they buzzed in and out past each other very smoothly. My procedure started on time and went perfectly well.

You're Not Too Young: Why Colon Cancer Screening Matters
Colorectal cancer is increasingly affecting adults under 50, making it a growing concern among younger populations.
Their billing is super questionable. This is one of those places where you end up getting multiple bills for a single service. They do not provide itemized statements even after request so it is not possible to verify that their charges are not duplicative with the hospital charges. If you find that kind of thing annoying, I think the Sutter center in Santa Rosa is a better option. Their billing was much clearer.
